Outpatient Detox

Outpatient Detox at ACI is offered to individuals experiencing mild to moderate withdrawal from Alcohol, Opiates (Vicodin, Oxycontin, Percocet, Heroin, etc.)  and Benzodiazepines (Xanax, Klonopin, Atavan, Valium, etc.) addictions. Outpatient Detox enables patients to safely and comfortably detox while living at home with limited interruptions in their daily routine. This is in contrast to inpatient detoxification where patients stay overnight in a facility.

ACI’s physician philosophy in the outpatient detoxification program is to manage patient’s withdrawal needs with the appropriate medication necessary to ensure a comfortable, safe, and successful detox process.  During the period of withdrawal, patients will also receive daily counseling services. Family members are encouraged to participate in weekly counseling to learn how to support their loved one who is undergoing detoxification for alcohol and other drugs.

Inpatient Detox

"I used to be a successful teacher. I was proud of myself and my achievements. I started using drugs and hit rock bottom. Then a friend took me to ACI. I went to detox and rehab. I am currently enrolled in the outpatient program and am doing great. I love where I am living and I love the staff at ACI. I am so grateful for the fellowship I have with my peers. I look forward to going to groups, seeing my counselors and the friends that I made. My favorite thing is “Jump Start Café” on Friday morning. I am learning how to have fun without using. I finally feel lucky to be alive.”
